(Winthrop, Mass.) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced earlier today their annual All-Conference Softball teams. Rivier University junior Mikayla Ramsdell (Salem, N.H.) was honored as she was named as an All-Conference Third Team Outfielder. This is the first time in her career that Ramsdell has been named to the All-Conference Team.
The third year outfielder led the Raiders this spring with a .365 batting average, .445 on-base percentage and a .490 slugging percentage. She collected a team-high 38 hits including eight doubles, a triple and her first collegiate home run. Ramsdell finished tied for second on the team with 17 runs batted in (RBI) and played in 39 of the team's 40 games.
Ramsdell was also named the GNAC Offensive Player of the Week back on March 26th after leading the Raiders to a perfect 6-0 week.
