NEW LONDON, N.H — The Rivier women's cross country team, led by a third-place finish from doctoral student Emma McEvoy, competed in its first meet of the season on Saturday morning at the Charger XC Invitational, hosted by Colby-Sawyer, at Morris Trail.

Sophia Kasem — 26th place, 23:42:89 

Anne Mcintosh — 35th place, 26:24:15 

Sophia Lunati — 46th place, 30:34:81 

Olivia Couto — 49th place, 32:21:18 

Next up, the program will head to Wenham, Mass. on Saturday, Sept. 14 to take part in the Pop Crowell Invitational, hosted by Gordon.
