She was part of the first Rivier women's volleyball team to win a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship and the first Raider team to participate in the NCAA Tournament. In softball, Hoffman was relied upon to shoulder the load as one of the most dominant pitchers in the GNAC during her three seasons. In her senior year, Hoffman was a key member of the 2005 cross country team, running in five races and finishing as a top runner for the Raiders.
