Nashua, NH - Rivier hosted its first GNAC Conference game today against the women's soccer team from Norwich University. It was a hard fought battle between the two teams and one that stayed scoreless for the first 88 minutes of the match. But on a free kick from the top corner of the 18 yard line Norwich was able to put a ball in and defeat the Raiders 1-0. Norwich University goes to 3-2 overall and 1-0 in the conference. Rivier College falls to 0-3 and 0-1 in the conference.
