In the second half it took Rivier just over 3 minutes to get the ball into the net to extend the lead back to two goals at 3-1.  Sabrina Carvalho (Tyngsboro, MA) would get the ball from Jillian Pilotte (Londonderry, NH) for the goal, then 4 minutes later it was Carvalho again, taking a pass from Amy Desimone (Methuen, MA) to push lead up to 4-1.  Georgia Steese (Wilmot, NH) and Moran would add the final two Rivier goals before Greene-Allen would add Newbury's second goal as the Raider's would play keep away for the remaining 6 minutes to keep the score and finish the game at 6-2.

Rivier was able to out shoot the Nighthawks 31-6 with 16 shots on goal.  Nighthawk keeper Jennifer Anderson (Palmer, MA) made 10 saves and gave up 6 goals in the loss while Rivier freshman Karina Arnold (New London, NH) would make 3 saves, giving up 2 goals for the Raider victory.
