Rivier College (10-9 overall; 1-1 GNAC) lost to host Bowdoin
College after defeating Mount Holyoke College and Worcester State
College in the Bowdoin College Invitational Tournament this past
weekend. The Raiders picked up sweeps over MHC and WSC before
going to Bowdoin in three straight sets to finish second at the
Invitational. Freshman Kenna Finlayson was named
to the All Invitational Team after leading Rivier with a team
high 24 kills in just 7 sets for a 3.43 kill/set
average. Junior Danielle Jacques followed
with 17 kills while senior Lindsay Chace and
junior Nicole Rodriguez finished the tourney with
14 kills apiece. Sophomore setters Lauren
Saccoccio and Caitie Callahan dished out
37 and 30 assists respectively. On defense the trio of
Danielle Stoodley, Emileigh
Cenedella, and Becky Gautreau combined
for 79 digs for the Raiders.

Rivier will travel to Cambridge MA on Thursday 10/8 for a 7:00pm
match against MIT.
RIV will then return home on Saturday 10/10 for an 11:00am GNAC
match against Norwich University and a 2:30pm match against St
Joseph College (CT).
