Boston, MA - #6 Rivier College (9-1 GNAC; 20-5 overall) defeated
Emerson College 3-0 to win their 20th match of the year.
Freshmen Josh Baker and Francis
Dallatore led the Raiders with stellar play.
Baker put down 8 kills with 2 blocks in just 2 sets while Dallatore
scored 7 kills and 3 blocks in 3 sets. Classmate
Jamison Chue stuffed the stat sheet with
26 assists, 5 digs, 2 kills, 1 ace, and 1 block. Not to be
outdone, the sophomore class of Tajh
Stokes, Alex Xenidis,
Chris Convertito, and Andrew
Paine had major contributions as well. Stokes bombed
in 7 kills while Xenidis had 6 of his own as well as 3
blocks. Convertito scooped up a team high 10 digs and Paine
chipped in with 4 kills, 2 digs, 2 blocks, and 1 ace serve.

Rivier will travel to Rochester New York for an 8:00pm match
against Nazareth College on Friday 3/5 followed by a trip to
Buffalo New York on Saturday 3/6 with games against Newbury College
at 2:00pm and Medaille College at 4:00pm. Medaille College
will be the site for the matches on 3/6.
