(Nashua, NH) The Thomas College Terriers used a pair of goals by freshman Alei Collier (Sidney, ME) to defeat host Rivier College 7-1 in North Atlantic Conference Field Hockey action this afternoon.

Thomas College (6-11, 4-5 NAC) got on the board first when senior Brittany Moore (North Berwick, ME) netted an unassisted tally inside the 4 minute mark. The lead would be extended to 2-0 as Collier capitalized on a pass from junior Bre Girard (Westbrook, ME). Girard would make it 3-0 just 2 minutes later when she scored from in front of the net. Freshman Alyssa Eugley (Sidney, ME) was credited with the assist. Freshman Brittany Premo (Concord, NH) added an unassisted goal before sophomore Lauren Hachey (Oakland, ME) capped the five goal first half as she knocked one home off of a corner - junior Miranda Tinsman (Belgrade, ME) recorded the assist.

Rivier (6-11, 1-8 NAC) would score their only goal when freshman Molly Thagouras (Berlin, NH) scored on a penalty stroke. Thomas would receive goals from sophomore Callie Joseph (Haverhill, MA) and Collier in the final 16 minutes to make it a 7-1 final.

Freshman goalkeeper Makenzie Flagg (Shirley, MA) made 14 saves in the loss. The combination of sophomore goalkeepers Sofia Sourgiadakis (Littleton, NH) and Jasmine Bishop (Waterville, ME) stopped 15 of the Raiders 16 shots in the game.
