(Nashua, NH) The Rivier College Women's Volleyball team took three straight sets from Johnson and Wales University (RI) to improve to 3-1 inside of Great Northeast Athletic Conference play.
Junior Kenna Finlayson (Derry, NH) paced the Raider attack as she had 14 kills. Sophomore Emily Sweeney (Chicopee, MA) recorded a game high 13 assists while senior Caitie Callahan (Dedham, MA) had 6 digs.
Rivier (7-12 overall, 3-1 GNAC) outscored the Wildcats, 75-37 in the three sets. The Raiders will be back in action on Saturday afternoon as they travel down to Boston for a tri-match with GNAC opponents Saint Joseph's College (Maine) and Emmmanuel College. The next home date for the Volleyball team will be on Columbus Day, October 10th with a GNAC tri-match against Albertus Magnus College and Pine Manor College.
