Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Mustangs top Raiders, 2-0

(Nashua, NH) The Rivier University Raiders fell to Mount Ida College this evening by a 2-0 final in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action under the lights at Raider Field.

Rivier senior Matthew St. Peter (Colchester, VT) stopped 5 of the 7 shots that reached the net as the Mustangs were able to out shoot the Raiders, 26-2.

Mount Ida recieved goals from Peter Silva and Ricky Oliveira as they improved to 5-5-1 on the season and 3-3 in the GNAC. Rivier falls to 0-8-1 overall and 0-5-1 in the GNAC.

Rivier will return to action on Colubus Day - Monday, October 8 - as they host Emerson College in a 1pm kickoff. Mount Ida will host Emmanuel on 10/8. Game time is set for 1pm.
