Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Lasers down Raiders, 5-1

(Newton, MA) The Rivier University Women's Soccer team took a tough GNAC loss this afternoon at the hands of the Lasell College Lasers, 5-1.

Rivier got their only goal of the game when junior Mariah Payne (Concord, NH) put a shot on net that found the lower left corner at the 47:40 mark.

Junior goaltender Cassandra Brown (Somersworth, NH) stopped 5 of 10 shots in the loss.

Rivier, now 2-6-1 overall and 1-4-1 in GNAC, will return to action tomorrow afternoon as they travel across town and battle Daniel Webster College. Game time is set for 4pm.
