Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Men's Soccer falls to Lasell College, 4-0

(Nashua, NH) The Rivier University Men's Soccer team dropped a Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest tonight to visiting Lasell College, 4-0.

Lasell (11-3-1, 6-1-1 GNAC) received single tallies from Servi Barrientos (17th minute), Cedric Dybaud (30th minute), Mike Skelton (71st minute) and Manny Alves (87th minute). Alves' goal was on a penalty kick after a foul in the box. Conor Fitzgerald assisted on the first two goals and Barrientos was credited with the assist on the third.

Freshman Gary Archambault (Auburn, NH) made 8 saves on the night while his counterpart Miguel Colmenares stopped all four shots.

Rivier (2-11-1 overall, 1-6-1 GNAC) will wrap up their 2013 home schedule with a 2:30pm GNAC game against Suffolk University on Saturday afternoon. This will also mark the end of the soccer career for senior Shawn Gareau (Hardwick, MA). Gareau has been a part of the soccer progam for the last four seasons and has been an integral part on the transformation of the team during his time in Raider Blue.
