- QUINCY, MA: The Rivier University women's soccer team was back in action this evening for the first time since 2019. They faced off against Eastern Nazarene in a non-conference battle that ended 1-0 in the Lions favor.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Lions were able to net the only score during the first half of this close contest. ENC's goal came at 42:18 off the foot of Beatriz De Oliveira Segato. She had a little help from her teammate Diamond Best.

-  For the Raiders, Kaylee Magoon (Loudon, NH) had a team high six shots on the night, with two being on net.   

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  Emily Mikelson (Concord, NH) made her collegiate debut this evening, saving 7 of 8 shots that came her way.

-  Shots: Riv 11, ENC 15

-  Saves: Riv 7, ENC 3

UP NEXT:

- Rivier returns to action this Friday as they get set for their home opener against GNAC newcomer Elms College. Kickoff is set for 4:00 PM.
