NEWTON, MA: The Rivier University women's soccer team was defeated by GNAC opponent Lasell University this afternoon 9-0 on Joanne Merrill Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Lasers dominated from the beginning as they opened up this afternoon's contest with six first-half goals. Alyssa DeOliveira scored two goals for Lasell, her first opened up the scoring at 9:03 and her second finished the scoring at 57 minutes. Lasell tacked on three more goals in the second half. 

-  Emily Mikelson (Concord, NH) was tagged with the loss in net for the Raiders after seeing 25 shots on goal, saving 16 of them.
