Fitchburg, MA: The Rivier field hockey team took down non-conference opponent Fitchburg State this evening by a score of 2-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Falcons took an early lead just seven minutes into the first quarter when Lena Spadafore beat the Raider keeper.

-  Rivier would tie the game up in the second quarter when Maegan Sheehy (Sabattus, ME) found the back of the net.  

- The Raiders game winner came in the third quarter from Lia Yohanan (Andover, NJ) at 32 minutes into the contest.
