BOSTON, MA: The Rivier women's basketball team was taken down this evening by GNAC opponent Emmanuel College after a Saints 40-19 run between the second and third quarters.

- Records: Emmanuel (12-1, 7-0 GNAC), Rivier (6-7, 2-4 GANC)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
-  The Saints dominated this evening, besting the Raiders in the first three quarters and securing their largest lead of 26 points. It wasn't just one player for Emmanuel that contributed a large number of points. It was a team effort with 13 athletes contributing. The highest scorer for the Saints was Jamad Fin, with 12 points.
- The Raiders did cut into the large deficit in the fourth by winning the quarter 21-18. Alexa Dufries (Leicester, MA) was the top scoring option for Rivier. She finished the game with 21 points and four rebounds. Lyric Grumblatt (Manchester, NH) finished with another double-double, including 17 points and 13 rebounds.
