WATERVILLE, ME: Rivier men's basketball fell to Thomas College in non-conference action this evening.  

THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Raiders were outshot by the Terriers throughout the contest. Thomas shot an impressive 58.8% from the field compared to Rivier's 38.2%. The Raiders kept the game close, only falling behind by seven points in the first half and just one in the second. Joseph Buford (Atlanta, GA) made the most of his first game back, scoring a game-high 24 points to go with his team-high seven rebounds. Nikolas Pignone (Stoneham, MA) added 18 points of his own in the effort.

- Thomas had four break double digits in scoring. Matthew Hadnot led the team with 23 points, along with eight rebounds. Parker Desjardins added a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds.  

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  Assists: Thomas 16, Rivier 12

-  3 PT Percentage: Thomas 42.9%, Rivier 41.7%
