NASHUA, NH: Rivier men's basketball lost against UMass Boston in non-conference play today in the Muldoon Center.   

THE BASICS:

- Date: 11/30/22

- Score: UMass. Boston 81, Rivier 64

- Records: Rivier (2-6), UMass. Boston (3-2)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- In the first half, the Beacons and the Raiders were battling back and forth for baskets. Going into the second half Rivier was down by seven points. UMass Boston was able to hold the Raiders to 27 points for the rest of the contest  

- Xavier Mckenzie led the Beacons with 23 points. Malik Lorquet had a double-double, contributing 18 points and 10 rebounds. Coming off the bench, Bobby Joy had 12 points for the Beacons.

- Josef Buford (Atlanta, GA) recorded 18 points for the Raiders this evening. Nesta Roberts (Manchester, CT) added 12 points and Robenson Baguidy (Goffstown, NH) put up 10 points for Riv.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

- Rebounds: UMass. Boston 40, Rivier 35

- Assists: Rivier 12, UMass. Boston 10

- Shooting Percentage: UMass. Boston 54.5%, Rivier 38.5%
