NASHUA, NH: The Rivier women's basketball team took down Anna Maria College this afternoon with ease in conference action.

THE BASICS:

- Score: Rivier 86, Anna Maria 69

- Records: Rivier (7-11, 3-8 GNAC), Anna Maria (2-15, 1-10 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  Alexa Dufries (Leicester, MA) helped lead the Raiders to a seven-point advantage going into the half. She led all scorers with 14 points, with Lyric Grumblatt (Manchester, NH) scoring 11 points with eight rebounds.

- Mariah Carey and Franny Hammond helped keep the AMCATS in the game through the first half. However, Rivier would catch fire in the second half extending their lead to 28 points into the fourth quarter. Dufries and Grumblatt both finished in the low 20's in points. Grumblatt had the game high with 24 points, and Dufries was just one point behind her with 23. Grumblatt also hauled in 14 rebounds.

- Marinique Reddin had a solid second half scoring ten of her 17 points along with nine rebounds.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  Rebounds: Rivier 48, Anna Maria 40

-  Assists: Rivier 16, Anna Maria 6
