NASHUA, NH: Rivier field hockey takes the win against Fitchburg State University in non-conference action this evening on Joanne Merrill Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- It was a silent first quarter for both teams. In the second quarter, Raiders Kayla Miles (Londonderry, NH) scored with a pass from Madison Bovill (Tyngsborough, MA). About 30 seconds later, Jacklyn O'Connor (Westford, MA) launched in another Riv goal.
- Kayla Miles (Londonderry, NH) scored her second goal of the night in the third quarter, the assist was credited to Abby Nadeau (Newbury, NH). Falcons Olivia Narkevicius answered back with a goal and the pass was from Alexis Raymond. Fitchburg didn't give up yet, with a goal from Lena Kassel ten minutes into the third quarter.
- In the fourth quarter Chloe Sicard (Salem, NH) was able to find Sydney Spenard (Manchester, NH) who insured the win with a fourth goal for Riv.
- Olivia Boucher (Berlin, NH) had three saves in goal for the Raiders, earning the win. Jenna Morse had six saves in goal for the Falcons.
