Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Women's Soccer Falls to Lasell

NEWTON, Mass. – The Rivier women's soccer team lost 2-0 to Lasell in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on the road at Taylor Field on Saturday afternoon.  

The Lasers (9-4-2, 8-2-2 GNAC) were able to sneak a goal in at 9:50 recorded by Caroline St. Croix with an assist from Bobbi O'Guin. 

In the second half, Lasell's Michelina D'Agostino was able to fire in an unassisted goal, putting the Lasers up by two. 

Lasell outshot the Raiders (8-4-3, 7-3-2 GNAC), 13-6, while earning eight corner kicks to Riv's three. 

Riv goalkeeper Bri Nugent made six saves in net this afternoon.  

The Raiders are back home on Merrill Field on Wednesday, Oct. 18 for another GNAC matchup against Dean with a start time of 7:00 p.m.
