BOSTON, Mass. - The Rivier men's soccer team saw its season come to a close in a 1-0 loss at Emmanuel (Mass.) in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Tuesday night at Roberto Clemente Field. The Raiders finished 3-10-5 overall and 2-8-4 in GNAC play, while the Saints climbed to 6-10-1 overall and 5-8-1 in the GNAC and into the conference tournament.
Richie Hickson secured the lone goal of the contest at 18:31 on the clock, with an assist credited to Guilherme Silva to boost the Saints to victory.
Emmanuel outshot Rivier, 11-5, also taking five corner kicks to the Raiders' one.
Raiders' starting goalkeeper Sean Seeley made three saves in net.
