FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – The Rivier women's basketball team dropped an 82-73 decision to Framingham St. in its final non-conference contest of the semester on Thursday evening at Logan Gymnasium.

The Rams improved to 9-0 with the win, while the Raiders fell to 2-8 (0-1 GNAC).

Lyric Grumblatt (33) and Alexa Dufries (17) combined for 50 of the Raiders' 73 points in the setback.

Rivier was outrebounded 54-23 as the Rams hauled in 20 offensive boards. The Raiders were limited to 38.8% shooting while the hosts shot 47.4%, including a 7-of-11 (63.6%) shooting effort from behind the arc.

The Raiders return to Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play in a 1:00 tip-off at Elms on Saturday, Dec. 9 at Picknelly Arena.
