Women's Hockey Lanced by Worcester State

WORCESTER, MA: Rivier women's hockey fell this evening to Worcester State at the Fidelity Bank Arena.

THE BASICS:

- Date: 2/17/23

- Score: Worcester 4, Rivier 1

- Records: Worcester (16-6-1), Rivier (6-14-2)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Lancers went up 2-0 throughout the first period. Katie Puumala and Cassidhe Wozniak each scored.

- Worcester would add one more in the second period, 9:49 in, on an Emily Pavoni score. The Raiders would find their way onto the scoreboard on a Power Play opportunity when Brianna Parent (St. Albans, VT) beat the Lancer tender.  

- Worcester added one more in the third period on a Caroline Gates Goal.
