BOSTON, Mass. – The No. 3 Rivier women's soccer team fell to second seed Emmanuel (Mass.) in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Semifinals on Tuesday night at Roberto Clemente Field, 6-0.
The Raiders posted their best season since the 2000 campaign, posting a 10-6-6 overall record, which was the last time Rivier made it to the conference's semifinal round.
The Saints (17-2-1) scored four goals in the first half before adding two in the final 45 minutes to down the Raiders, 6-0, and avenge a 2-1 regular-season loss at Merrill Field.
Senior keeper Maya Puma capped off her senior season making one stop in the final 16:49 in net for the Raiders.
Rivier will look to use this record-setting season as momentum into the 2025 season.
