NEW LONDON, CONN. – The Rivier baseball team fell in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) contest by a final score of 13-1 in a home game played at Mitchell on Tuesday afternoon.
The Raiders fell to 7-21 (3-9 GNAC) while the Mariners improved to 25-8 (12-0 GNAC).
Both Andrew Cavanaugh and Brian West each threw one scoreless inning in relief appearances.
The Raiders will be back in action on Saturday, April 27 in a GNAC doubleheader at Colby-Sawyer with first pitch slated for noon at Kelsey Baseball Field.
