NASHUA, N.H. – The Rivier men's soccer team dropped a non-conference matchup to Thomas (Me.) on Saturday afternoon at Merrill Field, 3-1.
With the loss, the Raiders dropped to (NAC) 2-2-3 (0-1-2 GNAC), while the Terroirs improved to 3-1-1 (3-0-0 NAC).
The Raiders opened the scoring on the brink of halftime, as junior attacker Jason Harlow converted his kick from the penalty spot to take a 1-0 lead heading into the break.
The second half saw a shift in momentum as the Terroirs quickly struck back with two goals, flipping the score to 2-1. With just 11 minutes remaining, the Terroirs capped off their victory with a third goal from a penalty kick, closing out the match at 3-1.
Sophomore goalkeeper Logan Clough recorded four saves in the campaign.
The Raiders look to bounce back in GNAC action against Saint Joseph's (Me.) on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at Mercy Field, with Kickoff slated for 4:00 p.m.
