WATERVILLE, Maine – The Rivier field hockey team was handed a 7-0 loss in its first road game of the campaign against Thomas (Me.) in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon at Bernatchez Field.
The Raiders' record evened out at 1-1 while the Terriers improved to 4-1.
The home team outshot Riv, 33-5, with senior goalkeeper Kylie Coupal making 10 saves in the setback.
Rivier will hit the road again on Tuesday, Sept. 10 in a 7:00 p.m. matchup against Framingham St. at Maple Street Field.
