NASHUA, N.H. – The Rivier field hockey team fell to the Bulldogs of Dean College 8-1 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference play Saturday afternoon at Joanne Merrill Field.
With the result, Dean improved to 10-6 overall (6-1 GNAC), while Rivier moved to 2-11 (2-6 GNAC).
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Dean found success early scoring 3 unanswered in the 16 minutes of action
- Senior Reilly Swislosky found the back of the net off a corner by first-year Mary Kelly at 16:41 of the second quarter.
- The Bulldogs would go on to score 5 more unanswered goals following the Raiders' lone goal
- Despite Dean's offensive success throughout the first three quarters, Rivier held them scoreless for the final 15 minutes of play
