WINTHROP, Mass. – Sophomore setter Lily Seibel has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Setter of the Week for the second time this season after a standout performance across four matches. Seibel averaged 8.17 assists and 3.5 digs per set, while also contributing seven service aces and five total blocks over 12 sets as the Raiders went 3-1 (2-1 GNAC) on the week.
The Raiders opened the week with a 3-0 sweep over Framingham St., where Seibel tallied 32 assists (10.67 per set), 14 digs, and two service aces. She followed that up with 27 assists, 10 digs, and three more aces in another sweep, this time over Elms.
On Saturday, Oct. 18, Seibel helped lead the Raiders through a tri-match against Lasell and Albertus Magnus. The Harrison, N.Y. native totaled 39 assists and 15 digs across both contests, including a double-double performance of 15 assists and 10 digs against Lasell.
Seibel and the Raiders return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 22, for a non-conference matchup against Roger Williams. First serve is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at the Campus Rec Center Gymnasium.
