New Haven, Conn. - The men's ice hockey team fell 6-2 to Albertus Magnus on Saturday evening at Ralph Walker Skating Rink.
With the loss, the Raiders dropped to 0-3, while the Falcons moved to 3-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Albertus Magnus opened the scoring 9:29 into the first period.
- In the second frame, the Falcons found the back of the net four times, once on a power play to claim a 5-0 lead.
- The Falcons tallied one more at the 6:50-minute mark on the third frame
- First-year Payton Kender put the Raiders on the board off a feed from sophomore Brady Bomal, on a power play.
- Sophomore Damon Kiyawasew closed out the scoring with a power play goal three minutes left to play.
