NASHUA, N.H. – Due to inclement weather in the Greater Nashua area, Saturday's Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) postseason softball game between Saint Joseph (Conn.) and Albertus Magnus, originally scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at Rivier University, has been rescheduled.
The game will now take place on Sunday, May 4 at noon on the campus of Saint Joseph. Earlier on Saturday, Albertus Magnus narrowly defeated Rivier, 3-2, in an 11:00 a.m. matchup (Game 7A), eliminating the Raiders from the GNAC postseason.
If Albertus Magnus defeats Saint Joseph (Conn.) in Sunday's rescheduled Game 8A, an "if necessary" game (9A) will be played on Monday, May 5 at 3:00 p.m. on the campus of Albertus Magnus.
The winner of Pod A will advance to face the Pod B winner in a best-of-three GNAC Softball Championship Series, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, May 9–10. Game one will be held on Friday, with game two and a potential deciding game three set for Saturday.
