Seven Raiders Highlights Softball All-Conference Awards

WINTHROP, Mass. – Following its sixth consecutive postseason appearance, which included a trip to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Pod B Championship Series, and an 11–7 mark in conference play, the Rivier softball team had seven student-athletes earn GNAC All-Conference and postseason honors, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

Leading the way for the Raiders was senior outfielder Olivia Couto, who earned First-Team All-GNAC honors after putting together one of the top offensive seasons on the roster. Couto batted .361 with a 1.021 OPS, totaling 37 hits, 33 RBI, and three home runs, while posting a .450 on-base percentage. She was just as dependable defensively, recording 74 putouts on 76 chances in the outfield.

Junior pitcher Hailey Berube was named to the Second Team after serving as Rivier's primary arm throughout the season. Berube started 23 of her 32 appearances, logging 147 innings and 10 complete games. She finished with a 3.67 ERA and 70 strikeouts.

Senior shortstop Kylee Caetano also earned Second-Team recognition after leading the Raiders with a .437 batting average. Caetano collected 55 hits, drove in 15 runs, and posted a 1.014 OPS along with a .474 on-base percentage. In the field, she remained a steady presence, recording 85 assists and 70 putouts.

First-year standout Emma Politz earned Third-Team All-GNAC honors at second base following a strong debut season. Politz hit .296 with 40 hits and 12 RBI while registering a .690 OPS. Her consistency in the middle infield, paired with her offensive contributions, quickly made her a key piece of the lineup.

Junior designated player Liv Harnish was also named to the Third Team and added GNAC All-Tournament Team accolades after a strong postseason showing. Harnish batted .366 with 37 hits and 22 RBI, finishing the year with a .839 OPS and a .413 on-base percentage while delivering in key moments for the Raiders.

Senior utility player Hayley Rapaglia rounded out the Third-Team selections while also earning All-Tournament Team honors following an impressive all-around campaign. Rapaglia appeared in and started all 40 games, batting .322 with 38 hits, 30 RBI, and three home runs for an .868 OPS. Defensively, she tallied 57 assists and 43 putouts with a .952 fielding percentage. She also contributed in the circle, making 17 appearances with one save, 70 innings pitched, and 55 strikeouts.

Senior captain Kyleigh Guerette completed Rivier's list of honorees by earning a spot on the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team. Guerette started 34 games and recorded a career-best eight hits in her final collegiate season, while providing leadership and energy that played a significant role in the team's success.

The Raiders now turn their focus toward the 2027 season, looking to build on another strong postseason run as the program continues to climb within the GNAC.
