NASHUA, N.H. - Rivier University Head Men's Basketball Coach Tom Glynn announced the promotion of Bruce Marchand to Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator, following two successful seasons as an assistant with the program.

In his expanded role, Marchand will lead the program's recruiting efforts, coordinate advanced scouting and film breakdown, oversee player development with a focus on post players, and organize prospect events.
 
"This is a much-deserved promotion for Bruce," says Glynn. "His contributions on the bench and on the recruiting trail have played a major role in our program's success over the past two seasons. Bruce is a rising star, and I look forward to watching him take the next step in his career."
 
With Marchand on staff, the Raiders have reached the GNAC postseason in back-to-back seasons. He played a key role in recruiting All-GNAC Third Team selection Devin Owens '24 and has helped build a strong foundation for continued success.
 
Marchand joined Rivier following two years as an assistant at Quinsigamond Community College.
