NASHUA, N.H. –  The Rivier women's soccer team came up short in a 4-2 loss to non-conference, intrastate foe Keene St. on Saturday evening at Joanne Merrill Field. 

With the result, the Raiders fell to 0-2 on the season, while Keene St. opened its campaign at 1-0. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Owls struck first just six minutes into the match with a goal from Bryn Dickinson. 

• First-year Bailey Gatchell responded four minutes later, at the 10:06 minute mark, leveling the score at 1-1 

• Keene St. regained the lead, regaining their lead at 2-1 just over the 30-minute mark.  

• The Owls extended their lead with a goal from Kayla DiPasquale in the 79th minute. 

• Gatchell netted her second of the game in the 81st, cutting the Owl lead to one. 

• In the 89th minute, Elizabeth Tschudin sealed the victory for Keene St. 

BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN: 

• The Raiders outshot the Owls 16-10.  

• Sophomore Leah Morrier assisted on both goals for the Raiders.  

• Rivier had the advantage on corners, 7-3.
