WINTHROP, Mass. – After posting 10 saves with a .833 save percentage during Rivier women's soccer's 1-0-1 week, Bri Nugent was tabbed the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Goalie of Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon. 

This is Nugent's fifth time receiving this weekly honor in her career.

The Killingworth, Conn. native made eight stops in the Raiders' 2-2 draw against the 2024 Little East Conference runners-up, Western Connecticut St. on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

In Saturday's GNAC opener, Nugent held Regis scoreless in the opening half, stopping two shots along the way.

Nugent and the rest of the Rivier women's soccer team hit the road for a non-conference clash with the Rams of Suffolk University. Kick-off is set for 7:00 p.m. at East Boston Memorial Park.
