WINTHROP, Mass. – Senior Izaiah Shaw-Glen has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week after helping the Rivier men's basketball team to a 2-0 record with dominant performances on both ends of the floor.

Shaw-Glen averaged 31.5 points on 66.7% shooting, 9.0 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, and 2.0 steals per game across the two victories.

He opened the week with a career-high 33 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks to power the Raiders past Mitchell, 71-68, for their first conference win of the season. The Brooklyn, N.Y. native followed with a double-double against Lasell, finishing with 30 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and two steals in a 76-66 triumph.

Shaw-Glen and the Raiders return to action Tuesday, Jan. 20, for their Raider Game against GNAC foe Norwich. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the Muldoon Center.
