MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Rivier baseball team started the 2026 season with a pair of losses to Westminster (PA) in a doubleheader on opening day of its spring break trip, Sunday afternoon at Saint James High School, as part of the Ripken Experience.
With the result, the Raiders begin their 2026 campaign 0-2, while the Titans improved to 5-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Titans plated the first four runs of the game across the opening four innings to take control early.
- Junior Nathan Innerfield sparked the Raiders in the bottom of the fourth with a double to right-center. Sophomore David Miller followed with a base hit to move Innerfield to third, before junior Colton Colleran lined a single up the middle to bring Innerfield home for Rivier's lone run.
- Westminster (PA) added two more runs over the final three innings to seal the victory.
BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN
- Junior Sebastien Reis went 2-for-3 at the plate, with both hits going for doubles.
- Innerfield went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored.
- Colleran finished 1-for-3 with the Raiders' lone RBI.
- Senior right-handed pitcher Anthony Morrow made the start, pitching five innings and recording six strikeouts. First-year Rowan Cormier tossed the final two innings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Titans struck first with a run in the opening inning.
- The Raiders responded with a double play as senior right-handed pitcher Nate Bonocorsi struck out the batter swinging, while senior catcher Dylan Aliberti threw out the runner attempting to steal to end the inning
- After a base hit and a successful stolen base, senior Owen Medlock crossed the plate on a single up the middle by Colleran.
- Innerfield went yard to right-center, bringing Colleran home and giving Rivier a 3-1 lead.
- In the bottom half of the third inning, the Titans answered back with two runs of their own to even the score at 3–3.
- Both teams went down in order in a quick fourth inning.
- Westminster (PA) broke the tie in the bottom of the fifth and tacked on another run in the sixth to secure the win.
