NASHUA, N.H. – After dropping the opening set, the No. 3 Raiders roared back to defeat No. 6 Regis (Mass.) 3-1 on Tuesday night, securing a spot in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Semifinal match.

Rivier now heads to Boston to face No. 2 Wentworth on Thursday, April 9, at Tansey Gymnasium, with first serve at 7 p.m. The Leopards swept the Raiders 3-0 in their regular-season meeting.

In Rivier's quarterfinal match, the Raiders started strong in the first set with early aces from sophomore Cade Barron and first-year Kenji Clark, but Regis rallied late to take it 25–23. The Raiders responded with a dominant second set, hitting .519 behind kills from senior Matthew McCloskey, first-year Everett Boyer, and Barron. A tight third set swung Rivier's way after a late push capped by a block from senior Bassam Awde and McCloskey. The fourth set was neck-and-neck at 22–22 before a McCloskey ace and a Boyer kill closed out the match.

Wentworth enters the Semifinal at 17–9 overall and 6–1 in GNAC play, though the Leopards dropped their regular-season finale 3-0 to Endicott.
