Hugo Palacios enters his third season as an assistant coach with the Rivier University men’s soccer team in 2024. Palacios’ primary responsibility is training the goalkeepers on the Raiders’ roster.

Prior to joining the staff at Rivier, Palacios began his coaching career with Revere Youth Soccer and GPS North Shore.

After recovering from a collegiate injury, Palacios joined Mass United of the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) where he won multiple conference titles and made one national appearance. Prior to his stint in the semi-professional landscape, Palacios attended Saint Joseph’s College (ME) where he competed for the Monks soccer program over two seasons. The Revere, Mass. product Palacios played for Malden Catholic during his high school playing days after getting his start playing with the Aztecs Soccer program.
