Annika Furtado joined the Rivier University women’s soccer coaching staff prior to the 2025 season. She comes to the Raiders after completing a four-year career with the Franklin Pierce University women’s soccer program, helping the Ravens to a 51-17-15 (.705) record in the highly competitive Northeast 10 Conference.

In 2024, Furtado and the Ravens posted a 19-4-2 (.800) record, including a 7-2-1 mark in NE10 play. That season, the team advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championship for the first time since 2007, ultimately falling to the eventual national champions, Cal Poly Pomona, in the semifinals.

During her career, Furtado earned NE10 Academic Honor Roll recognition twice. A Dartmouth, Mass. native, she graduated from Franklin Pierce in 2025 with a degree in Health Science.
