Rivier University

Coach Simoneau is entering his 8th season as the women'ssoccer head coach. After two years as an assistant coach andfour years as the Head Coach for the Men's program at Rivier,Jeff is now putting his full concentration into the woman'sprogam. He will be the Head Coach of the Women's teamonly after splitting duties as the Head Coach of both teams in2005. 

Prior to his responsibilities at Rivier, Coach Simoneau woreseveral hats as the Head Coach of Don Bosco High School in Boston,MA, Head Coach of the U-18 Klein Soccer Club in Houston, Texas, andPresident of the River Valley United Soccer Club inMassachusetts. In addition to his soccer coaching duties, Jeffis the Assistant Director of Admissions at Rivier.

Simoneau is a proud alumnus of Lawrence Academy in Groton,MA. He is well-traveled with playing and living stops inFrance, Turkey, and Copenhagen. Simoneau also speaksFrench fluently. He earned his bachelors degree in Historyfrom Northeastern University where his favorite courses wereMilitary History of the Civil War and of World War II.

Coach Simoneau's motto: "you + motivation = success" was takenfrom his famous uncle Jimmy Valvano of North CarolinaState fame.
