Riv held the high-scoring Trinity offense to 63 points on just 32% shooting from the floor. It was the Raider offense, however, that faltered. The Raiders scored a season-low 46 points on a dismal 26% shooting from the field. Riv battled all game but struggled converting the open look.
 
No one player led the Raiders tonight as this was the best 40 minutes of team defense Riv has played yet. Every player who went into the game played tough, hard-nosed defense. Junior Jess Mellen and freshman Allie Parent were the only 2 players to reach double figures in scoring. Mellen finished with 13 points, 9 rebounds and a game-high 6 assists. Parent chipped in with 12 points (on 5 of 9 shooting) and 6 rebounds.
