Leicester, Mass- Becker College defeated Rivier College 1-0 in non-conference women's soccer action.

The Hawks scored the lone goal of the game at 6:17 of the first half, when Catherine Millette (Columbia, Conn) made a beautiful centering pass to Alena Phongsa (Putnam, Conn).

The game was full of defense as the Raiders held the Hawks to just 3 shots on goal while Rivier was held to just 4 shots on goal.  However, it was Becker that was able to find the back of the net for the 1-0 victory.

Rivier goalkeeper Karina Arnold (New London, NH) made two saves in the loss. The Raiders fell to 3-7-2 on the season.

Shannon Tibbetts (Warren, Mass) made four saves for her fifth shutout of the season. Becker improved to 8-5 overall.
