Nashua, NH - Rivier College (5-8 overall; 1-1 GNAC) returned to
The Muldoon and defeated Keene State College 3-1 on Thursday
night. Rivier's offense turned in a great effort to help
spark the home team to their 5th win of the season.
The Raiders made just 12 hitting errors in 4
games while registering a .279 hitting
percentage. Setters Lauren Saccoccio and
Caitie Callahan made good decisions all match and
ran a steady offense to combine for 47 assists. Senior
middle hitter Lindsay Chace laced in 11 kills on
23 attempts with just 1 error for a .435 hitting percentage
while her middle hitter counterpart, junior Nicole
Rodriguez, ripped in 9 kills on 15 attempts with just 2
errors for a .467 hitting percentage.
Junior Danielle Jacques put down a team high 13
kills and registered a .324 hitting percentage while
first year player Kenna Finlayson bombed in 10
kills from the outside. Junior Brittni
Taylor was steady all match and put down 5 kills
to round off the offense.
The trio of Becky Gautreau, Danielle
Stoodley, and Emileigh Cenedella were
once again solid in the back court combining for 32 digs along
with steady passing all match.

Rivier will continue their home stand on Saturday 9/26 with an
11am match against Rhode Island College and a 3:00pm match against
Salem State College.
