Nashua, NH - The Raiders (9-3; 1-0) continue their
record-setting season as they win their fourth game in a row. Riv
jumped out to an early 10-0 run and never looked back. The Blue and
Gray dominated nearly every statistical category as they finished
with season-highs in points (86), 3's (9), offensive rebounds (30)
and assists (23).
Riv received points from every player and were led by freshman
Mackenzie Brook's (Colebrook, NH) career-high 18
points to go with 10 rebounds (6 offensive) and 3 steals. Senior
Jess Mellen (Rockland, MA) also had a
double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Senior Monica
White (Augusta, ME) and sophomore Amandra
Purcell (Hudson, NH) were both spectacular for Riv. White
finished with 12 points, 8 rebounds and a game-high 6 assists while
Purcell added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Freshman
Sarah Howard (West Greenwich, RI) had her best
game in a Raider uniform as she chipped in with 8 points and 3
rebounds.
The Raiders start a four-game road trip on Tuesday. First up in
perrenial conference power Emerson College. Game time is TBA.
