Nashua, NH- The St. Joseph's Monks (5-6) defeated the
Rivier Raiders (0-5) by a score of 19-0 on Tuesday
night. The Monks had a balanced offensive attack as they
scored 5 goals in the first quarter, 6 in the second, 6 in the
third, and 2 in the fourth. The Monks defense played
well, as they forced 16 Raider turnovers and only allowed the
Raiders to fire off 2 shots throughout the game.
The Monks spread the offense around as 11 players scored for the
Monks. Spencer Hunt (Jeffersonville, VT), Dylan Chase (West
Newbury, MA), and Paul Dolewa (Saco, ME) led the attack with 3
goals apiece. Hunt added 3 assists to his 3 goals for a total
of 6 points in the game, while Kody Peckham (West Gardiner, ME) and
Sean Flanagan (Hingham, MA) each chipped in 2 goals of their
own. Christopher Driscoll had an easy game in front of the
net as he made 1 save on the only shot on net from the
Raiders.
C.J. Becker (Danvers, MA) and Randy
Perrine (Merrimack, NH) had the two shots for the
Raiders. Matt Besaw (Glenn Falls, NY) had
another nice game between the pipes as he made 22 saves on the
night, even though the score doesn't show it.

win. The Monks are also off until Saturday where they will be
playing at Lyndon State where they will take on the Hornets.
