(Boston, MA) Emerson College used two first half goals from Meghan Foehl as they were able to defeat the River College Raiders, 2-0 in GNAC Women's Soccer action.
Foehl recorded her goals at the three minute mark and the twenty minute mark.
The Raiders were able to outshoot the Lions 7-5 in the game. Sophomore goalkeeper Christine Surber (Langdon, NH) recorded three saves in the loss.
The offensive attack were led by sophomores Brittany Balkus (Milbury, MA) and Mariah Payne (Concord, NH) who recorded two shots on goal each.
The Raiders will contine on their roadtrip as they will travel up Interstate 93 into Maine and take on the University of Maine @ Farmington in a non-conference matchup tomorrow afternoon.
