NASHUA, NH: The Rivier men's basketball team stumbled in GNAC play tonight against Colby-Sawyer.
THE BASICS:

- Records: Colby-Sawyer (5-7, 2-3 GNAC), Rivier (2-11, 0-5 GNAC)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The first half was a back-and-forth battle between Nikolas Pignone (Stoneham, MA) and Kevin Cummings. Pignone went off for a half-high 16 points in just 14 minutes. Cummings tallied a team-high 13 points. Conor Kelly helped give Colby-Sawyer the lead going into the half with eight straight points of his 11 and 11 boards.
- Cummings and Pignone continued in the second half. The Raiders outscored the visiting team 38-37 but couldn't cut into the deficit. Pignone added 15 more points in the second half, while Cummings tacked on ten.
- Cummings had a team-high 23 points for Colby-Sawyer, along with seven rebounds. Kelly added 18 points and 14 rebounds, giving himself the double-double.
- Pignone ended the game with a game-high 31 points off the bench, along with four assists and three rebounds. Nesta Roberts (Manchester, CT) added 13 points and eight rebounds in the effort.
