NASHUA, N.H. – The Rivier field hockey team produced a season-high six-goal output in a shutout win over Salem St. on Thursday night at Merrill Field in non-conference play.
The Raiders improved to 4-8 overall while the Vikings fell to 2-8.

Kayla Miles extended the Raiders' lead to three 1:54 into the second quarter with an unassisted tally. Rivier would hold a 3-0 lead going into halftime as senior keeper
Kylie Coupal totaled three saves.
Junior goalie
Lily Gifford came in for the final 30 minutes of regulation and watched as Rivier's offense produced three additional goals coming off the sticks of Bovill, Swislosky, and
Hailey Morse to come away with its second non-conference win of the campaign.
Riv outshot the Vikings, 19-12, putting 15 of those shots on target.
The Raiders return to their Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) slate on Saturday, Oct. 12 with a road matchup at Anna Maria. Action is set to get underway at noon at Caparso Field.
